WAYNE COUNTY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HIRING FAIR
The Hiring Fair is intended to give high school seniors with no post-graduate plans the opportunity to meet with Wayne County businesses. Seniors who interview and accept a job offer from a Wayne County business will have a Signing Day.
The Hiring Fair will be open to High School Seniors from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. At 2:00 pm, the Hiring Fair will open up to the public, lasting until 4:00 pm.


EASTER AT THE FAIRGROUNDS
Join us at the Wayne County Fairgrounds this Easter Sunday for a community worship service. This service will be followed by free food for all, a candy rain for ages 6-10, an Easter egg hunt for children ages 5 and under, inflatables, and raffles. Raffle prizes include PS5, a mini-van and more.

LIFESTREAM HEALTHY AGING EXPO
The annual Healthy Aging Expo is a free event for the community to learn more about programs, services, and activities available to older adults in the Wayne County area and beyond. Attendees will receive a resource bag, a chance to win a $250 Visa gift card, and a complimentary lunch (for the first 200 attendees!).
This event is in partnership with The Leland Legacy and Brewer Broadcasting.

SEARA’S LEGACY K9 TRIALS
We’re thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Seara Burton K9 Legacy Trials! Last year, we welcomed incredible K9 teams from Indiana and Ohio–and we want to grow even bigger this year! Let’s add more states to the lineup and make this the best year yet!
Team Registration: $35
All proceeds go to the Officer Seara Burton Foundation to support K9 teams nationwide with the purchase of K9s and K9 equipment.
Come out and watch some of the best K9 teams in action! We’ll have food and vendors on-site throughout the day. Donations will be accepted from spectators, but they’re entirely optional.
Don’t miss the chance to see some incredible K9 skills while supporting a great cause! Let’s honor Officer Seara Burton’s legacy by making this event bigger and better than ever.

AUTUMN OAKS
Founded in 1960 in the Midwest, Autumn Oaks is the granddaddy of all UKC events. The UKC National Grand Champions of the seven UKC recognized breeds are named at this annual hunt.
Autumn Oaks brings together the outstanding coonhounds from the United States and Canada to participate in a Nite Hunt and Bench Show. This prestigious event is held over Labor Day weekend each year. The location of Autumn Oaks is carefully selected on the basis of a club or clubs that can supply qualified guides, good hunting territory, and a fairground that has camping facilities, barns and meeting rooms to accommodate the thousands who attend. Autumn Oaks is a family affair and an event where old friends become reacquainted and new ones are made.
Autumn Oaks is a one-night hunt run off in two nights.
NOTES & REMINDERS
GRAND SIXTEEN: All Grand Nite Champions hunt on Friday night.
ATVs are strictly prohibited. Golf carts (rented or private), motorized scooters and mopeds must carry proof of insurance at all times. All drivers must be of an age to have a state issued driver's license. This will be enforced.
Free camping Thursday through Sunday. Pre-event camping fee collected at gate. (No reservations, first come first serve).
Please note that the Wayne County Fairgrounds is a designated non-smoking area.

CAREER EXPLORATION FAIR - WAYNE COUNTY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its annual Career Exploration Fair for all juniors and seniors who attend our Wayne County High Schools and National Trail High School. Students will participate in 2 workshops before getting to spend time on a career fair floor to learn more about your business and the career pathway. Employers who attend must have a representative join our, Career Exploration Fair training, on February 15th at 1pm, which will be held via Zoom. With the increase in participating schools and that we are now including juniors, we anticipate having 500-600 students each day.
This is a 2-day event, March 5 & 6th. Both days will begin at 8:45 and roughly end at 12:00.

UKC MIDWEST CLASSIC

ELIGIBILITY
Dogs must be permanently registered with UKC, have a Temporary Listing (TL) number, or have a Performance Listing (PL)/Limited Privilege (LP) number by the closing date and time to enter the licensed classes. No exceptions will be made. Entries for ineligible dogs will be returned.
An unentered dog may not be substituted for an entered dog.
Dogs must meet the eligibility requirements for the event which they are entering. For requirements, refer to the appropriate event rules and regulations.

SERVSAFE FOOD SAFETY MANAGER CLASS & EXAM
ServSafe is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program accredited by the National Restaurant Association and the Conference for Food Protection. The program was developed to educate food service workers about food safety.
ServSafe Food Protection Manager is the highest certification awarded by ServSafe. The manager training focuses on five aspects of food service that can affect the safety of food:
• Foodborne Microorganisms and Allergens
• Personal Hygiene
• Purchasing, Receiving, and Storage
• Preparation, Cooking and Serving
• Facilities, cleaning/ Sanitation and Pest Management
The certificate is earned by passing the ServSafe Manager exam with a 70% and the certification is valid for five years.

For 2025, we're transforming the First Bank Kuhlman Center into a Japanese inspired wonder! Once again, Palette to Palate promises to be an unforgettable experience that you do not want to miss! Proceeds from this collaborative fundraiser benefit the educational programming of Richmond Art Museum and Indiana University East.

There will be several tool boxes both large and small, heaters, fire pits propane outdoor heaters, yard tool and shop vacs. Included items will be Milwaukee, DeWalt, Ryobi, Craftsman and Rigid power tools and much, much more! Items will be added daily until the day of the auction.
Indiana Sales Tax of 7% will be added to each purchase.

Hone your skills and build your knowledge about pipeline safety at a two-hour training session.
