Get ready to party on as the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce hosts our totally excellent Annual Dinner and Awards celebration! This year’s theme brings the fun, energy, and nostalgia of Wayne’s World to life—Wayne County style.
We’ll honor more than 20 outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals for their incredible achievements over the past year. It’s the perfect night to celebrate the people who make our community rock.
Dinner will be catered by Old Richmond Inn and served buffet-style, featuring a delicious variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options to keep all our guests fueled for the fun.
Guests are welcome to dress in the usual business to semi-formal attire—or fully embrace the theme with creative, Wayne’s World–inspired outfits. Party on in whatever style suits you!

Excavator Damage Prevention & Pipeline Safety Program
INDIANA PIPELINE AWARENESS ASSOCIATION
Hone your skills and build your knowledge about pipeline safety at a two-hour training session. Attendees can connect with local pipeline and gas distribution operators, network with fellow first responders and operators, plan a coordinated response and receive updated operator and emergency contact information.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn two Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits upon training completion. Trainings start in January! Sign up below to reserve your spot today.

RICHMOND ART MUSEUM PRESENTS - PALETTE TO PALATE
Palette to Palate is RAM’s premier fundraising event which takes place in February annually. The evening features a fun art and dining experience for guests in a casual atmosphere that encourages networking, socializing and enjoying the great people in our community. We highlight art and artists, both local and regional at the event, providing an opportunity for them to not only show their work, but also to sell it. There are new signature cocktails each year created by mixologists from Indy, and the theme of the event changes with every new event. All the while, attendees are supporting the educational programming at the Richmond Art Museum, which serves more than 5,000 students in Wayne County and beyond each year.

Step into the world of prehistoric giants at Dinosaur Adventure, a unique exhibit showcasing life-sized, realistic dinosaurs that move and roar just like the real thing! Children’s Activities: Kids can dive into fun-filled activities, including Jurassic scooters, themed obstacle courses, dinosaur rides, and more!
WAYNE COUNTY MOUNTED PATROL TRAINING CLINIC
Bring your horse and join us for a day of fun and education at the 2025 Batman Memorial Mounted Patrol Civilian Clinic! Learn all about formation riding and nuisance training from our expert trainers. This is a great opportunity for you to spend the day safely exposing your horse to new things. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
There will be 3 session:
Formation riding (morning)
Nuisance training (afternoon)
Exhibition (evening)
See the schedule below for more details. You can choose to participate in either session during the day, and you should also pick whether you are going to participate in the exhibition in the evening.
Limited to 20 horses per session. Spectators and supporting people are unlimited, but are asked to get a free ticket through Eventbrite.
You can sign up for the morning session (formation riding), and/or the afternoon session (nuisance training). You should also pick whether you are going to participate in the exhibition in the evening.
Riders are required to wear ASTM/SEI-approved helmets

Come join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County for our 25th Annual Smart Futures Dinner! This event celebrates the links between Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County, the community, and exceptional individuals. Our honoree is Host, Reporter, & Live Event Emcee Lauren Bohlander Kanaan and our featured guest will be Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team Principal, 2013 Indianapolis 500 Champion, and 2004 IndyCar Champion Tony Kanaan.

2025 AUTUMN OAKS
Founded in 1960 in the Midwest, Autumn Oaks is the granddaddy of all UKC events. The UKC National Grand Champions of the seven UKC recognized breeds are named at this annual hunt.
Autumn Oaks brings together the outstanding coonhounds from the United States and Canada to participate in a Nite Hunt and Bench Show. This prestigious event is held over Labor Day weekend each year. The location of Autumn Oaks is carefully selected on the basis of a club or clubs that can supply qualified guides, good hunting territory, and a fairground that has camping facilities, barns and meeting rooms to accommodate the thousands who attend. Autumn Oaks is a family affair and an event where old friends become reacquainted and new ones are made.
Autumn Oaks is a one-night hunt run off in two nights.
NOTES & REMINDERS
GRAND SIXTEEN: All Grand Nite Champions hunt on Friday night.
ATVs are strictly prohibited. Golf carts (rented or private), motorized scooters and mopeds must carry proof of insurance at all times. All drivers must be of an age to have a state issued driver's license. This will be enforced.
Free camping Thursday through Sunday. Pre-event camping fee collected at gate. (No reservations, first come first serve).
Please note that the Wayne County Fairgrounds is a designated non-smoking area.
